I've been working as an osteopath for 30 years having trained at BCOM (British College of Osteopathic Medicine) in London 1989-1993. My clinic in Södermalm, Stockholm opened in 2004.
My broad range of experience has grown through treating patients with a wide range of conditions, everything from opera singers who want to improve their performance, office workers needing to sit many hours a day at a desk to people managing a chronic illness like arthritis.
After many years clinical experience I became fascinated by the link between how our physical state affects our well being and vice versa. So I trained in cbt which has given me an added perspective especially when it comes to managing long-term pain. I have been meditating regularly for over 35 years which really contributes to the way I work.
Being curious by nature, I enjoy continual learning and have recently completed an MSc in Osteopathy. I use a wide range of osteopathic techniques in clinic, everything from mobilisations to cranial work.
